Any one know of a source for Opinel handles? I jacked up a #8....

In a more serious vein - it's a $15 knife. Made in France. So getting a single replacement handle shipped here is probably going to cost more than a new knife. Opinel's own warranty policy is to replace a defective knife with a new one, not to repair.

If someone wants to do a handle repair just because they want to do the work themselves, that's fine, but it's not economically feasible.

Look at it his way.. If ya buy another N0.8 you can experiment on a blade regrind and if not you will have a spare knife for parts!! Just sayin.. John

Buy another knife. That way you have a spare blade.
