Opinel no#8 giveaway

So i purchased a no#8 opinel like 2weeks ago and i am not liking it- so rather than toss it in a drawer im going to give it away ...it cut an apple and some cheddar- never sharpened-like new.
Im still new here so if this in the wrong spot im sorry.
Rules - say " im in "- and why you like/want an opie.
When im bored ,later on i will randomly pic a winner .
If anyone even posts.- has been sent off to user stinkytool

Im in. Never had an Opinel, but have wanted to try one and for some reason just never bought one. Thanks for the chance
 
I'm in, already have and love one myself, but it's my sons birthday today and if I win it will go to him.

Hear good things about them. But wouldn't want one cause their made in France. They despise Americans and the USA so i hate them back. Plus my grandfather hated them for reasons back in WW2 so i stick by his decision for disliking them. Still like German,Italian,Japan,Taiwan, knives though. Obviously not an entry.:) Just thought i'd stir up the pot here with controversy. I'm sure it's a great knife and very nice of you for doing this GAW.:thumbup:
 
I'm In. I've never been really in to tradionals (no offense to anybody), and this is the only one that I pretty much like very much. I bought one for a friend and got a good look of it and I thought it is really well-made and now I want one. Thanks for the GAW.

I don't normally join in on GAWs and prefer a #6 for pocket carry, but I do like to modify Opis so I'll try for this one & if I win it, I'll mod it and give it away again.

I'm in and thak you. I just gifted my Opinel #8 to a co-worker and have not ordered another one yet.

A friend of mine was asking me to mod them an Opi as a gift. If I win this one thats where it'll go.

I've never owned an Opinel myself, but I bought my dad one for Christmas this year and he loves it! I'd love to give one a try.
