Opinel No 8 lock stiff

Hey there, my no 8's lock is super stiff, and I was wondering if there's anyway to quickly fix that. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LVQWv8SvBFY

Maybe try putting it in an oven around 200 degrees for a little while. The wood should lose moisture from local humidity and the metal rings should expand a touch. Then work it for a while so that the contact surfaces mate better.

Pry the lock apart a little bit.
