Opinel question answered....

I was removing some of the wood from the handle of my Opinel No.8, to make the blade easier to grasp (I don't like to use the nail-nick), and then I thought "do Opinels float"?

So I filled the tub with water and tossed her in.

So, if you ever wondered...the Opinel No.8 does not float.

This is good to know as I have lost more than one knife over the side of a boat! Post some pics of your Mod Please. Some other fellows can get the wood handle looking like a real custom job.:thumbup:
