Opinel steel

Hi everybody!
Does anybody of you know what type of steel is Opinel carbon steel? And what is the hardness of the steel? I've read somewhere that it's 1075. That's propably not correct, because Opinel says it's carbon steel has 0.9% of Carbon and 1075 is supposed to have only up to 0.8%.

Opinel's steel is most likely something like 1090.

yeah, i don't think it would be 1075 either because that's relatively low in carbon

1090 steel is the hardest of all "10 series" steels so its carbon content is .95%

i hope that made sense and didn't make this point redundant
