Opinel twist lock...other manuf. besides Cold Steel?

I remember reading a thread in the past about another maker (foreign) of the twist lock type of knives. Does anyone know this company? Thanks for any leads ! Dave

Kershaw made them a few years back.
Chris Reeve made a similar style lock (custom).
There are a few other French brands using it too.

Seems that years ago there was a plastic copy of the Opinel design. It may have been Kershaw.

I don't know who makes them for them, but the Garrett-Wade catalog carries Opinel-looking knives with the ring lock with exotic wood handles, much more expensive.
