Opinion - Broken Schrade LB8

Hello from Winnipeg, Canada. Just discovered (after trying unsuccessfully to contact Schrade via phone/email) that they have ceased business. I was trying to contact them to inquire re replacing a knife which had the blade snap off while whittling a prop for my fishing rod. I know this may generate a million opinions but is there any conscensus re what I should be looking for in a replacement, now that Schrade is not an option - looking for another folding knife, blade lenght approx. 4", top quality construction & warranty, etc.

If you want something similar why not something by camillus? Other than that the case slip joints in CV are good, unfortuantely you can only get them in yellow delrin, or amber bone. Schrade's are still available right now. Many still out there if you want another. For the price they are replaceable without much expense.
