well you probabaly wont finish my damascus billets after this IG, BUT the guard is a bit to much for me. too over sized, looks like it could fly! the angle and shape look fine, just way to big!

I think it should have a really long square bent lower guard. Other than that its OK.

George, The guard looks good but its out of balance with the rest of the knife. With the blade as narrow as it is the guard needs to compliment it and not take away from it.

I.G. I think the guard is cool, but I agree with Rhino and Ray. Its to big for that knife, a smaller version would look great. The shape and style adds nicely to the whole package, but to me thats all I saw when I first opened the picture. Scale it down some and its right on the money.
