Opinion on new Striders

I do not yet own a Strider and am in the midst of sourcing for the first one - they're so rare! I am back and forth as to which model I should buy, as my first first of course, until I came across the all new SEAL2001 or XM series. I believe if I own XM01 through to XM06 (6 pieces total) I would have owned enough Strider to call it a collection - even though they're all full-sized, tanto-style.
Does anyone know the purpose of this series, i.e. is it to replace the existing WB, BT, etc? Are they just new additions?
Should I just forget about all this and buy either a BT or WB instead?
Why produce a SEAL2000 and now a new SEAL2001? Is there enough substantial differences to warrant the new model? Or is it marketing gimmick?
No insults intended everyone. I am a soon to be Strider knife collector and hope some business/marketing talk is acceptable.

Oh what the heck. Business and marketing it is! SEAL2001 is significantly different than our other selections in both size and geometry. XM05 is the only model currently being produced however we will get around to doing the others sometime. As far as what to choose first, there are some excellent testimonials on exactly that topic in the recent past on this forum. Take a look and let us know if we can help! Thanks for your interest,

Not to intrude unnecessarily, but Louis Pasteur is the correct source of the observation that "Chance favors the prepared mind".

all of their knives are WAY too big, too thick, and not shiny enough....plus.. you gotta wonder where they came up with that dumb name!!??
