Hello guys/gals,

I cant stand it anymore, I've got the addiction for a piece of INFI and I cant wait "two weeks" for the FBM or the next in line after the WB and I cant catch the HR in the company store (I can occasionally see it but I'm not fast enough to add it to my cart).

I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on an AK47 tonight, I'm leaning toward the gray/black or the black/black. Any recommendations from owners of this magnificent work of art?

I'm sure either one would be a great start to my INFI addiction but I'm looking for cons or pros for either one. Mine will likely be a safe queen but if I did decide to make it a user, does the black crinkle wear quickly with mild to moderate use? It appears that the gray crinkle is thinner but is it more or less durable than the black? Which one catches your eye?

Owners of either one, pictures would be much appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance for any input,
Ed

crinkles will vary a lil from batch to batch. busse's is the best i have found. black is very crinkly, desert is sandier, green is slicker with grey being the slickest.

Wow, thats a beautiful collection of Ak47s!!

Skunk's picture is my desktop background, I found it in another thread. :)

Bravado, your collection is outta this world! What is your opinion on the black verses gray between the ones you have? Which has the bigger WOW factor when first observed?

If the gray is the slickest, is it much thinner and would it wear quicker than the black if used moderately?

Thanks again guys,
Ed

They're very knice--certainly worth the money IMHO. If you like Japanese swords you know how difficult they are to maintain. With the infi and coating that's not a worry.

IIRC, I have heard guys prefer the ease of cleaning on the gray over the black. Of course I could be wrong:confused:

I caved in, I just couldnt turn my eyes away from the black/black AK47, so I ordered that one over the gray. It was an agonizing decision, but the black/black was the one for me.

Do the company store blades ship pretty fast?

Now, If I could only get lucky and catch a HR at the store.....or wake up tomorrow to find a FBM available!!

Thanks again for the input guys!!

Thanks for sharing a pic of your AK47 David. I'll be contacting you after I receive the AK47 to possibly check into a sheath or two.

Congrats on your selection, you won't be disappointed! Skunks shipping is faster than Bob Munden on his best day at quick draw!
