Hi all!

Is Böker Plus cheaper line for Böker knives? I.e. has Magnum division changed its name? There are some sweet rosewood handled Böker Plus folders in sale in my native webauction. Price is very good( lower than you can expect from quality knives around here). But how is quality of Böker Plus knives?

Boker Plus is the middle product line in between Magnum and the Boker (Tree Brand) lines. The quality is in between, too, but the lower price points make them good value for what you get. The Chd Los Banos knives are highly regarded at their price.

Recently bought a Boker Plus Schanz, and was VERY impressed with its quality. This is my first Boker and it was a total gamble as I had heard so many conflicting stories on the brand, but I just liked the model a LOT.
This dagger has excellent fit and finish, beautiful canvas micarta slabs on a full tang handle, razorsharp 440c, it's thick and therefore heavy, but I am very happy with this. If the entire Plus line is like this, I can highly recommend it

btw, I own lots and lots of knives, many of them over $200, so I am not that easily pleased, just for some perspective (don't mean to brag ;) )

Edit: The sheath is made of mediocre leather, and can only be used on the belt. But it's no biggy, for $35 I'll have a very nice Kydex custom made for this baby.

Good to know. I bought that Böker Plus knife with Rosewood handles ( I like wood handles ) cost is 18,60€ including shipping and handeling, making it one of my cheapest folders. Albeit cheap is relative thing to every person. I'll post my opinion once I get I receive it.

I own a Trance, Subcom, Wharcom, and Hyper, all designed by Chad Los Banos (who also posts here btw). Great knives for the money. 440c with g10 and great fit n finish.

I won't speak for the whole line but I have been very pleased with my Boker Plus stuff so far.

I have several Boker+ knives, are made in Taiwan but the quality is good

Edit . Not all B+ are made in Taiwan. I have a small neck FB, CB design : Made in USA 44O C

I have a few of the Chad Los Banos models and I would say that they are a good value for the price.

I'm not familiar with any Boker Plus folders with rosewood handles? I know there are several in the Magnum line. Then again I am not an expert by any means!!

The Boker Plus line is huge for Boker. With the declining value of the dollar, the German made Bokers are getting quite pricey for Americans. The Boker Plus line has eclipsed it in sales many time over. I would say it is one of the most successful Asian import lines.

I tend to judge knives that I don't use personally by the return rates we experience. We have no problem with high return rates with Boker Plus. That means customers are satisfied with the value they represent.
