The cricket FRN had been listed as a blade for delicate cutting, crafts and such (I assume same of ss Cricket), while the Dodo appears to be marketed as a hard use blade. Could you please offer opinions, blade shapes are similar to one another. I realize the handle of the Dodo is more substantial, thus affording more purchase on the knife than the Cricket. Will the Cricket blade shape tolerate as much use as the Dodo?

I just compared my Dodo and my Cricket. The Dodo blade is wider and just a bit longer, 2 1/6" against 1 3/4", however, the biggest difference is that the Dodo blade has a much more hooked tip than the Cricket. The Point of the Dodo is also more reinforced than the Cricket. The differences in the blades, plus the Dodo's much londer handle, means that the Dodo is more more versatile in terms of cutting strength. The Cricket's advantage is that it less radical tip is more appliocable to different uses besides package opening.
