Hello all. I've got an older Onan generator/stick welder similar to the pic that's currently on a cart with 4" dia steel wheels.

Great for concrete floors, but I no longer have that shop, and will most likely end up with a shop with dirt floors.
I'm thinking about getting a Harbor Freight 1000 lb lawn cart with pneumatic wheels.

I'm wondering if it'll be too: (a) top heavy, and if so, would it be too difficult to widen the wheelbase or (b) too heavy in general and if so would it be too difficult to reinforce the structure?
Any thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks

I would build a cart and use 10" HF wheels. You can also modify an existing cart with the bigger/wider wheels. Thse yard carts tip as they turn .. yu don't want that.

I will build a large heavy table for the new shop with wide wheels I salvaged off some rider mowers. The swiveling wheels will use the old front wheel forks. I will call it my "Off Road" work table. I can roll it outside on the grass or wherever I need it. If I get too old to pull/push it around, I may add an electric motor to the fixed wheels.
