I am torn between two Bucks on sale right now, I have $35 left on a gift card and figured I'd look for some deals. Trying to stretch it into two decent blades.
Currently looking at a Buck El Moro 857 for $15.33 (on sale from $24) and a Buck Ascend 715 folder for $17.99 (on sale from $30).

Buck El Moro USA made, 420 HC, 3" fixed blade. I don't have many small fixed blades so I am leaning towards this one for a hefty $15. Anyone have one that can comment on it?

I'm leaning towards the El Moro and adding a Vic Hiker for $25.

I had to look them up. It looks like the 875 El Moro is a slightly smaller version of the 877 Maverik.
I have the 877, and like it a lot.

I'd say go the 857 and SAK route.

I've carried the El Morro on my belt daily for about 3-4 years. Snagged at Wally World. Decent little fixed blade for bike shop work, strong tip, easy to sharpen. Sheath is meh but they sent a replacement without issue .

I have one I keep out at my BBQ pit. A decent knife. Blade is kinda thin but it works well.
