I like the KISS series, never had a problem with it unlocking during use (I avoid twisting the blade, hold it in a way so it doesn't unlock, and use for light cutting chores only.

I checked out the PECK...only problem being it's very small for a one-hander. I like the Wharncliffe shape, though, and its small size might make it a decent air travel blade (not too big a loss if confiscated, which is very unlikely).

Who has one, and what is your experience with it?

P.S.: I actually like the upcoming larger Sampson's KISS with the spear point blade the best, though!

I had a KISS and still have a peck. yes, it is a bit small, takes a little practice to get used to. It's fun to play with, I like the blade shape.

I could see that it might be slightly easier to open in a pocket, so far so good. I think it's worth $20 or below. Not more than that probably.

I bought the Peck specifically to use it as a money clip, and it's too darn small -- the clip won't hold more than a couple of folded bills, and it's not really long enough either. I, too, found it difficult to open the knife with one hand.

And tomorrow when you wake up it will be worse.

my son has a PECK, and says that although it is a bit harder to open than other one-hand openers, you get used to it after a while. it's a fun toy, and besides, it looks cool.

Takes a little getting used to,but once you get the hang of opening the knife it is pretty nifty.
