Opinions on custom TGLB

So I was thinking about getting a TGLB. I have heard others mention a dislike for the top guard that has a hole in it. I was thinking about requesting one without it. Do you think that would be a bad idea? Would Busse do this for me?

Someone here posted a photo a little while ago where they ground it off themselves. Don't know where to find the photo but hopefully it'll pop up. Looked great IMO.

The guard doesn't get in my way at all.
If you don't want the guard I'd recommend a NMSFNO. Very similar though the NMSFNO is a little bigger.

I'd love to see that one with the top guard ground off.

Brings to mind the old Kabar mods I saw done back in the day.

I'm not sure the hollowed handle Light Brigade version lends itself to grinding off the top talon as much as the solid body TG.
