Does anyone have one and what types of uses do you get out of it. How does it compare to Stider's general purpose knives? Thanks for any comments.

It is a great knife, but make sure that you really have a use for it. I got one and really liked it, but never carried it or used it. It is the perfect size for a SWAT cop or Spec Ops type to wear on their gear, but not small enough for everyday street cop uniform carry. After owning the EBLT and now having an AR and GB, I would say that the spear point is much more usable than the tanto. Don't get me wrong, I won't get rid of my GB, I love it. The AR is just more usable and I feel the EBS would be more usable than the EBT.

I have an EB-T, which is slightly shorter than the EB-TL (only has a single finger groove, blade is the same). I have only had it a couple of weeks, so my experience is limited. Lewis's comments are accurate. Here are a few additional thoughts. It is one stout knife. Comparing it to a Busse Mean Street isn't even fair.... It is primarily a defensive instrument, IMO. It is a little bulky to carry concealed along with a gun, but if you have no gun I don't see a problem if you get an IWB sheath. The extra deep checkering on the G10 scales allows a very secure grip in both forward and reverse grips. The tanto blade has its plusses and minuses. For a general purpose knife I think the spear point might be a better alternative, but it's up to you and what you want it for. HTH

It is a larg knife, Very stout/heavy duty!

I am six feet tall and about 190 lbs. I could not carry it IWB comfortably. Frotunatly I have a JSP Associate shoulder harness. In my job I wear loose fitting clothing. I can carry it sercurly and comfortably this way.

It is not a utiliity knife. If you are like me though the knife I carry is the knife I use. My EB cuts what I need to cut as well as, if not better, than most knives I owne and have used.

It is reported to be a great cqc knife. I do not personally know this to be true. It does look and feel like it would do the job.

It is a larg knife though. Not exactly the type of knife you could get away with using in a restaurant without drawing unwanted attention from the wait staff. For that try an AD, less tiger stripes.

I have been interested in getting one for a while now. Even more when they started to do them with flatgrinds. I do however have an additional question. Where does the knife balance? Is it point heavy or does it balance just where your indexfinger is placed on the handle?

Thanks for any replies.
