I made arrangements for getting two of them and was curious as to opinions of those who already own them. Let me know what you think and what your likes/dislikes are. Thanks in advance all!!

I love the little bugger! It is light weight, incredibly sharp and has a very secure grip. I am going to get a 2nd one, probably a titanium La Griffe.

My only complaint is I wish it were a standard double ground blade with both sides sharpened. I have a hard time getting the correct angle for the chisel ground edges. I am also not a fan of the double grind with only one side sharpened. For this little knife, will over look both of these and be happy.

This knife is the ultimate in deap concealment! The knife also feels great in the hand, very confortable and secure.

The blade is very sharp and the design allows it to cut aggressively.

For such a low price, it is definitely worth getting.

I took one out to make a pic for my www.emerson-knives.com site and it has never been back in the box. I love it and for the money you can't go wrong. Actually I love it so much I got a real Fred Perrin La Griff which I will auction of in a few weeks!

Mike,

How about putting serrations on Emerson La Griffe with your little machine. For the knife of this size and its intended function, a serrated edge (to enhance the rope cutting ability) makes very good sense to me.

I would probably want a bigger knife for slicing rope. The edge is quite thin. It's not really made for heavy duty work.
