Opinions on folding Kalinga?

The folding Kalinga's seem to be showing up on the big evil E and other places in force now. How many of you have picked one up, either the 415 or 419? How is the fit, finish, lockup, ergo's, etc?

The only one I've seen here in the forum is Scott's camo 415 in the pic thread. I've pretty much decided that a 419 will be my next knife purchase but I'd like to hear some opinions first.
 
:cool:...I've had a 419 on order since they announced 'em...I'm figuring it will probably be comin' pretty soon...I'm sure opinions will be stellar for that one...:thumbup:
 
I picked up that camo 415 for my youngest son, for his birthday. I played around with it taking pictures. The fit, blade finish and lock-up are perfect. Fits snug into the sheath, and with the snap closure, it shouldn't get lost. Christopher loves Kaligas & Akonuas, I doubt if he'll dislike a folding Kalinga for any reason. Should carry on a belt the same as a 110.
 
I'll drop in a couple of pennies worth-
I got a 419 some time ago and it is another outstanding example of Buck Knives Incorporated! Fit and finish on par with the Custom Shoppe offerings with smooth operation too! Plenty to brag about with this one! Keep in mind I am a 'fixed' guy, generally.

I can't believe all this talk of fit and finish and no pics!!!! :D

I do not have one of these yet, but I plan (hope to) very soon! I love this new design!
Are they as smooth as an Alpha folder?

Jim! Oh the cruelty...yeah, I am no photobug and then expose me for the 'fixed' guy I am. Fine I'll 'fess....I don't have an Alpha...no not one.:o

Thanks guys, glad to hear the folding Kalingas are as smooth as the folding Alphas. How does the liner thickness compare to the Alpha? As wh4f said.... pics would be cool :D
