Opinions on Junglee?

Their adds make them look kind of crappy, but they seem to be mentioned in a positive way in some of the knife mags, any opinions??

I had the chance to see a few Junglee folders at a retailer. I was not impressed at all. I saw a folder called the "Foreign Legion" which is basically a Smith & Wesson SWAT folder. They are constructed exactly the same way using the same materials. The Shogun and Marshall folders looked nice and come sharp, but had sloppy lockups. I didn't see any fixed blades, so I can't comment on them.

I've got a Junglee Marshall that I like. It is built on the light side. The lock is not as thick as my Spyderco Starmate for example. What I like is the AUS-10 alloy blade. This is more wear resistant than AUS-8 yet takes that classic AUS-8 razor edge. It is one of my sharpest knives (after I sharpened it--the factory edge was nothing special). I got the knife for about $35.00 on sale. This seemed like a great deal for the knife. I don't think I'd pay over $45.00 for one.

I've got a special forces that's OK. Nothing special, but not cr*p, either. A little small for my taste, but easily worn. I don't wear fixed blades, so I can carry a little more length.

But I think the junglee ads are pretty schlocky. Kinda makes Cold Steel look like a class act (not dissing their knives, just their ads, mind you).

The folders with the AUS-10 blades are great. So far I haven't had a bad one come through the shop and I think the AUS-10 blade steel has been overlooked by many as a working blade.:D

I only have one.
I purchased one of their short swords, and it is a beauty.
RAZOR sharp, shaved hair off my arm, needle point, very hefty
and graceful. No doubt in my mind if it came to it I could
take off a head in one clean swipe.

Vampires beware, I keep it tied to my bedpost.
