I bought A camber today off the snap on truck at work for 110 dollars I hope it was worth it. Anyone got any real world experience and how is the s30v steel? Thanks all

Great knife. Kershaw does S30V great. For being off the Snap-On truck I don't think you got hurt too bad. I have heard of folks paying nearer to 200 for the Snap-On models.

I have one I got for Christmas and I love it. It has a great blade shape and carries well. Currently in my top 5 blades, especially for a lightweight edc.

Could you show some pics. I thought snap on sold the dash with the snap on logo. It looks like a camber.

I bought a Camber the day retailers put them up online, and it's easily one of my favorites. Absolute perfection right out of the box, which isn't something I take for granted in this day and age. Considering that I'd been drooling over them since they were first announced, I'm a happy camper.

It's not a snap on version it was just for sale on the truck. It has absolutely zero snap on nonsense on it.

If it is a regular camber without any snap on logo then you paid a bit more than you should havel. Most dealers sell them a lot cheaper.

S30V is S30V, it's run at a decent hardness by Kershaw these days and it performs well.

I've been loving my ZT 0770 all month but I'm still really interested in trying a Camber.

The Camber is the knife I been EDC for work . I have a bunch of knives on top of my dresser but I been EDC the Camber a lot since I got it . I deassited it and it flips pretty good .

Looked online it was 139.00 I'm sure other places sell it cheaper but I have the convenience of having it fixed on the spot by the snap on guy versus waiting for it in the mail.

Yeah, I've seen 'em from around 76 to 86 bucks. You make a good point about the convenience. Hey, as long as it works for you.

Well yeah you can find places that sell at full retail. But the majority of dealers dont. For instance bladeHQ who is an authorized dealer and a paid bladeforums dealers sells the camber for $77.95 and if you spend another $10 you get free shipping. Not sure how snap on could fix your knife if it broke on the spot. They are a supplier and wont have parts. They may just take the broken one and give you a new one but I thought that policy was solely for items manufactured by snap on. Even still Kershaw has the absolute best warranty in the business. And for me I would accept the need to spend $5 to send it in and wait a week or wait a week for parts to be sent if it meant I saved nearly 30% but Im a very frugal bargain hunter.

I like my Camber so much that I just got a second for $69.99 shipped! Same place I got my original for $77. Great quality, materials and value. Of course, great CS/Warranty by KAI.

Haha yeah I got an email from them about a sale, and immediately saw that deal.

Between the Camber and 0770, which do you prefer?
