I was just looking at the Kershaw Cyclone at Knifecenter and it seems like a pretty cool knife.
I like that it doesn't have a recurve blade (I dislike recurve, but sadly many Kershaws have it). I like that it has an option for turning off the Speedsafe assisted opening function. I like the way it looks (has a cool looking clip!).
I know nothing about the mechanism that does the assisted opening (is it strong and reliable?); I know nothing about the mechanism that turns it on or off (is it strong and reliable?); I know nothing about the steel used in the blade (13C26 Sandvik).
So, if you have experience with the Kershaw Cyclone and can offer opinions about it, I'd like to read them. Thanks!
