well here it is! :D
first time i tried using spacers andseprate handle parts :cool: :D :D
cocobolo ends, leather spacers, dymondwood middle ,o1 blade, convex grind, and brass buttcap :cool:


overall length:10 in
blade length: 5 1/4in

in this picture it looks like there is something nasty on the tip and base of the blade but nothing is there at all??!! :confused:

Your knife reminds me of a Swedish sloyd knife. It looks good. If you keep the end pieces the same length on either side of the laminated middle section you would get a different look to the handle. What you would be aiming for is the top of the curve of the handle in the middle of the laminated section. What would happen then is the top green patch would be in the middle and looked centered and ballanced. Natureally it is a prefference and depending on what effect you are trying for. I like it just the same.
 
Looks nice.I would have picked another steel than O-1 for a thin blade like this (It tends to be a bit brittle).The lateral stress at the ricasso may lead to a break,especially with the choil there.A puuko style sheath would look good with this knife.
 
That is almost a "Puukko", only thing is that it has the (half moon) ricasso on it and the grind is convex.
Nice thin desing, real "rib tickler" could be a nice user.
Make a skandi sheat for it, they are bit tricky to make but worth the effort.
