Hi everyone,
I need your honest opinions on a basic bushcraft sheath I've developed for the Fiskars Chopping Axe, and this will also be the same shape (except proportionally smaller) for both the old and newer Fiskars hatchets as well (and possibly the splitting axes as well). There seems to be a dearth of affordable yet attractive leather sheaths for the Fiskars series, hence me playing around with this idea.
Moderators, I'm not a vendor, but do have interest in selling some of these on eBay and/or the forum as a vendor supporter if there's any interest. If not, then I guess it's just show and tell
The sheaths are constructed of 8-10 ounce double shoulder veg-tanned leather if anyone is curious. Also, I used only double capped rivets in the interest of making them affordable (as opposed to the much more time and labor intensive stitching). As many of you know, I'm an axe fanatic and these have definitely been a labor of love.
Thanks everyone!
The sheath is in basic black
