Looking for some input from all those wiser than I on this little number.

I figured a wharnish flat grind would be best since I have very little experience grinding.

What say you?

Hello,

I like it! The only thing I would change is the grip right below the blade. I like a little more of a curve so my pointer finger cant slip onto the blade.

Good work,

Chris

Alright so I wasn't able to make the initial design fit on the width of 1084 I had from Aldo
(thought I had 2" actually had 1.5"). So I laid the pattern on and basically tried to fit as much as I could onto the steel.

Here is how she ended up

A little more strider like than I was shooting for but you have to work with what ya got.

Next up is scribing the center line and working on the plunge, distal taper and bevels.

I am thinking handles will be either walnut or bubinga with brass pins.

Here it is after a little work on the grinder...starting to look like a KSO

A look at the taper - can you tell I am afraid of grinding the tip - lol.
