Time to get a new knife, now for the hardest part....choosing. I am looking for a blade around 3.5-4 inches. I want it to be as thin or thinner than the Para2 (or even a tad bit thicker). I really love the Para2 so I have thought about just getting another one. My max is $160 or $170. I want a ZT 0550, but its hard to find them in that price range. I also have been looking at the H.E.S.T. 2.0 and the Spyderco Military. I already have the Manix 2 and I used to have the Gayle Bradley. Any other recommendations or opinions?

Maybe a Kershaw Blur s30v?
Quick, lightweight, cheap enough to buy another knife, plenty of other great things going for it.

or maybe you try to track down a 0350CB?

My tastes lately have run to autos so how about the HK Tumult? Or Protech TR4. Of the ones you're looking at I'll say give the HEST a look. It's a good knife and I have a lot of love for mine.

It's an assisted open but it does have M390 steel and slick aluminum/G10 scales. At 3.6 long and 0.121 that fits the bill..just a thought..

save up 30$ and get that ZT 550, kershawguy has them for 199$ shipped.

Get a spyderco Chokwe. 3.5" blade, thinner - much thinner than the PM2, great ergos, has a beautiful yet different look to it, lightweight.

It has to be my favorite big slicer knife.
