Just wondering what yall's opinion on the SPOT is. I am looking for a neck knife for summer and was wondering how yalls are holding up.

Thanks.

I love mine! This is far and away the best necker I've ever carried. It has a terrific grip, the perfect blade angle, and a versatile blade shape. Combine that with light weight and an extremely flat profile and what more can you ask?

Actually, I did think of one more thing to ask... I'm hoping that the S.P.O.T. will sell well enough that we can convince Sal to do a limited run in Talonite. That design in a corrosion-proof material would be absolutely perfect!

In short, go buy one. You'll love it.

I think I have been convinced, which one should I get?
I want corrosion resistance and a good edge, can I have both?

(Edited to add)
Does anyone have pics of the sheath?

1) micarta
2) no
3) yes
:D

Okay, maybe a little more needs to be said...

The VG-10 of the micarta version seems to be fairly stain-resistant. AUS-6 is more so, but I think VG-10's far better edge holding is worth it.

Here's a picture of my sheathed SPOT.

Spyderco is reworking the sheath because some people have had problems with it, although mine has worked just fine.

We have sold a lot of them, they are nice! Spyderco did a good job with them. Paul

I'm glad to hear that they're selling well! This is a design that deserves to bring Spyderco some money.
