Just wondered what my fellow forum readers own in the way of Spyderco kitchen knives, and how these knives stack up against some of the other traditional kitchen knife makers (Henckels? Wustoff?).

I think that we would probably order a K02PBK (Cook's knife), K04 (Utility knife), and a K09PBK (Paring knife). The K04 comes in both a plain and serrated edge, and so I'm not sure which would be more suitable for me.

Opinions? Comments? Please let me know what you think of these knives!!!

Thanks,

Matthew

Just got the Santoku last week. My wife and I are both enjoying using it. The steel seems great, and the design allows an easy rocking motion for dicing stuff, without your hand hitting the countertop or table. The handle is very comfortable too. I intend to buy the paring knife and small uitility knife soon.
