I like the surefire delta folder but i never hear to much about them on the forums. Are they made well?? Are they rare or collectible? I think they are 425 new and for that kind of money i could be into a sebenza or strider. Id love to hear what everyone thinks of them.

Jeff Randall from Rat Cutlery was going to carry one for an extended time, and write a review for one of the knife magazines. you may want to post this in the Rat Cutlery forum, to see if he will weigh in.

In case you are not familiar with Jeff, he runs Randall Adventure Training, a company that teaches survival skills...he knows his stuff.

You can find them online for about $325 if you look around.

Saw a couple last week for that price online.

The ones I've handled were easily as nice as CRK's.

I have handled the surefire line it looks like a well made knife, not sure who makes them i would like to know, seemed pricey but good......good luck.........

i owned an alpha for a while (sold it to my bro-in-law) and i liked it a lot, i guess my b-i-L has had it for 3 or 4 yrs now and ihavent heard any complaints about it at all, i plan on getting another sooner or later, if i can ever get a decent deal on 1 anyway,

though i liked the alpha a lot the others havent really 'grabbed' me,

I have the Delta, very well made, on par with Sebenza, and I had a Sebenza and know. Smooth as silk, sharp, tight, tight tolerances. Dont carry often but when I do I wonder why I don't more. The tools are kinda useless to me, but I highly recommend one. I found a used one for 3 bills, sent it into Surefire who made it new and cost me nothing. Not a pretty knife, but I would not let it go for anything. Hope that helps.
