This pattern caught my eye a while ago, but I had only seen them in SS. I was placing an order from my distributor today and found that they had them in red bone and CV so I decided to order one (I can put it up for sale if I don't like it).

What do you guys think about it? Anybody EDC one?

I think it's a nice looking pattern, but what has kept me from getting one is that all 3 blades have the same edge profile: a very shallow curve with the "belly" all right at the end. IMHO it would be a lot more useful if at least one blade was straight, i.e. coping, Wharncliffe or sheepfoot, and if they were of a greater difference in sizes. The blades are just too redundant.

I would have liked a sheep/wharn/coping blade but I really like the knife. With three springs it's enough beef and comfy. I also wonder why the spear is so short and would be perfect looking with a long straight pull.

I have the G10 with satin ss. I think you'll like it report back either way.

I have one. I like it. It's very well-made and is a nice size for jobs that don't require anything big. I don't look at mine as a knife for whittling - I think the blade configuration is wrong for that - but as a small knife for everyday carry it is a very good choice.

I have one in black G10
Came very sharp
The F&F is very good

There is a thread about converting the spey into a clip
I might try that myself

For a three spring, I like my Buck stockman more than this Whittler!

I agree, I wish the Humpback Stockman was available in CV. I really like the handle shape and the spear point main blade, but I'd really love it if there was a sheepfoot blade in there as well!

It should get here in a week or so, if I don't find it appealing I'll put it up for sale (I'm a part time dealer). It's such a pitty that so few Case models are offered in CV.

Looks like a great canidate for a blade or "blades" modification project. Very nice knife with great steel. Keep it and make it your own! I agree with everything said about the blade selection.

Well, the Stockman certainly does have a Sheepfoot in there! Just wish CASE put a Longpull on that Spear blade as the older Humpbacks would have had.
