opinions on the HT

I think i want to get an HT.
What do those who have them think of em? how often do you find yourself reaching for the HT over other striders? any and all opinions wanted

I love all the Striders I have! :D Each model is unique in design and function.

But I got to admit of the 10 Striders I have or had...the HT is the one Strider I have close by all the time.Its the one Strider I am always 'playing with'. Thats always within reach if a folder is not.

The blade to handle ratio is perfect for a small 'concealable' fixed blade. And big enough for bigger chores. It is very comfortable to hold. Like all the Striders this feels solid. Theres a kinda of comforting feeling when holding a HT in sabre or reverse grip...almost the same feeling like holding 'push dagger'.Very secure in the hand. All the Striders are awesome.

My personal choice for a small concealable fixed blade is without a doubt the HT. (A slighty larger choice for a concealable fixed blade is another one of my favourites the EBLT).

Good luck finding the one that is right for you cos Strider makes them all :D:D

The HT is one sweet blade. This is the knife I keep in the cab of my truck. It's the perfect length for close quarters and has a double edge with some spine serrations ( I heard somewhere that it was designed to cut wet rope?) When I need to cut something in and around my truck this is what I use. If I get stuck in my truck for some reason, this is what is getting me out.

The knife is balanced and fits my hands very well. I wear a size large glove. I have a friend that feels that the knife is a little small in his hands, then again his is a big guy.

I like the grind of the knife very much. Has a nice belly and a good length for heavy cutting chores yet is small enough to carry concealed if required.

I think you'll like the HT. It's slightly bigger than the other smaller Striders (AD, SA, DB) but that's why I bought it.

awesome, im definetly getting one, might have to wait till next month though, just picked up an MT modified 10 on badassknives. I HAD to get the MT. you guys know how it is. hey, at least i didnt RUN to get my credit card this time like i did when i got the GB.
i swear if it werent for blade forums, id be a rich man right now. but at least i dont have to worry about carrying around a big bulky wallet:D
