Dudes,

Some of you are the proud owners of the new fixed blade Lum Tanto. Care to share some feedback on this excellent knife?

Sam

Hi Sam,

The Lum Tanto FB is a masterpiece -- simply as a work of sculpture in steel and Micarta. I am trying to find a way to display mine. However, if I were going to carry a FB as a tool, I would be more inclined to use the Perrin Bowie.

Here are my mediocre pics:

I totally agree with what Carlos said. It is a beautiful knife, but I can't really see it used as a user.

Carlos, I'm thinking of picking up one of those Spyderco display stands for it. Silly me, I completely forgot to get one while at the store, today.

Played with one the other day and was dazzles by the looks but baffled by the balance. I couldn't get it to "work" with my hand. I'm sure it's my hand that's at fault though.

Beautiful, but for me not useable.

Muchas Gracias for the feedback Carlos!
The Lum FB is indeed a collectors masterpiece! Sal showed me the prototype when I visited Golden two years ago! :D Care to post a pic of the sheath as well?

Sam

Love the Lumto, don't love the sheath.

So I made this one out of OD Concealex for it.

Nice sheath Firebat.

Here is the stock leather sheath for Sam. I like the leather sheath, but I expect that most people who intend to carry it will go the custom Concealex route.
