So like the title says, what are your guys' thoughts on this knife? I'm thinking of getting one (as my first "higher end" knife) and just want to see people's feedback on it.

The 0200 for lack of a better term is the bomb diggity. For real though....the knife is a best. Awesome ergos, strong lockup. Definately a hard user.

Great knife. Kershawguy usually has some great deals on blems - < $100.

This is a big hand filling pants dragging knife with a good steel.

The only thing I can say against all my ZT's is that they don't come all that sharp. Sharp enough but you will probably want to sharpen it to your liking.

Buy one.
Amazing ergonomics, solid lock up, g10, 154-CM, $95 shipped from kershaw guy (blem)

Thanks guys. Yeah, I have heard a lot of great things about Dave but it seems that he's out of the ST. Might grab the PE though...

I can tell you I would be willing to trade a leek and a shallot towards one lol. Seriously, awesome knife and I want one!

There was a thread a couple days back on reasons to get a 200. For a few bucks more, just hit Dave up for one of the satin finished model, new and just for the satisfaction of knowing you can beat the hell out of it worry free. I just did and ETA is Monday. Its gonna be a long four days

Just got a 200KW from Dave a week ago and love it. I had never handled one before but understood it was a bigger knife. When I opened the box I was surprised at just how big it looked. The bigger surprise was how great it felt in my hands. Its like it was molded just for me. Have carried for the better part of the week and it carries really well. I can hardly tell that it is there. It has knocked the 550 out of my pocket for now. I say go for it. You will not be disappointed. Also, and I can't say this enough, Dave has the best prices and service known to man. Email him for a current price list and treat yourself to some 200 goodness.

I just got the 0200kw from knifeworks with stonewashed blade yesterday. It's such an elegance beast great lock up rock solid to say the least I'm thourghly impressed. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if the opportunity presented its self. it's also a great companion to my Zt 0303 but feels so different in a good way. Go for it and don't look back it's a knife you will carry and not want to put down. Just my 2c

It's a very solidly built knife. Smooth opening, solid lock-up, comfortable to handle, and overall tank-like construction. It is a big and bulky knife though. The same contours that make it comfortable to handle also make it somewhat awkward to carry in pocket. Actually, I find the 0300 carries a bit easier due to its shape, even though it is a bigger and heavier knife overall. That's just personal preference though.

Enough can't be said about the ergonomics of this knife. I know one size does not fit all sometimes, but this one is really perfect for me. It's design makes it so much easier to handle and use with confidence like its an extension of your hand. It not just a tool in your hand that can feel foreign sometimes like other knives I have handled.

Here's what I think:

ZT0200 is too big for me. It is a beast, and IMO, a pocket shredder. Use the pocket clip unless you want everything in your pocket to die a painful, smashing death.

It's an absurdly tough knife. I feel like I can pry the hatch door of an Abrahams tank with it. However it is extremely impractical for me. For it's size and weight I'd rather just carry a fixed blade. It's more of a novelty knife to me.

I agree with this. On the other hand all of my Kershaws have come razor sharp out of the box. However, with my ZT's the edge is a bit less than adequate for my tastes. It's probably because they generally have a thicker blades to begin with. Nothing a few passes on the ol' stone can't fix.

Does anyone know if Kershawguy has any 0200 blems for sale right now? I want to buy another one just for fun.

Lol, so it's a novelty knife to you, but you want another? I need to get one for cheap, have rival pimp it out, and carry it as my edc knife
