Opinions please...AG Russell Dozier Tab-lock Trapper?

I'd love to hear from any of you guys or gals that have one. I've been eyeing it for a while and want the lowdown.
What advantages or disadvantages does the tab-lock design have over a common liner lock or a framelock? I can't tell much from the picture in the AG Russell catalog, other than the knife looks somewhat strong.

The advantage to the Tab-lock design is that it will wear more evenly over time than a frame lock or liner lock. That way you won't get blade play as quickly. The people that have this knife seem to like it, but agree that it's a little overpriced.
