Guys I got tired of using tripod for posting pictures and all the pop up ads ect. So I broke down and bought some inexpensive webhosting. I'm new to website making , but I would Like some honest opinions. my real address is now working http://hurleyknives.com

Damn hippies and their damn flowers.... ;)

Looks nice! Simple to use and with nice pics (I take you'll add more to the Gallery :D)

I'd put your phone number and email on the Contact page too

I'd also make the bigger pictures open in another window to make, but that's just me :)

Nicer looking site. just need some more knife pics in your galery. Even if you don't have them for sale now it would be nice to see what your style is. Someone may like the look of something and order one to be made.

I'm sure it will develop. Nice pics that were there.

Nice, clean, easy to navigate. Cant say more than that....add to the gallery. :D

Well said blgoode, put some more pics, get a few for sale, get rid of the pic of the guy with flowers in his hair... :D and looks like your set, nice site.

What Dan said need more pics though. Lose the flower :D The sixties are dead! Like Elmer said, Hell I was there and we really didn't wear flowers...well most of us anyway! :D

It is a good looking site. Ease of navigation is important. I just wish I could convince my partner of that! :grumpy:

navigation ??
what are you navigating and on which Partner be clear now..? :D :D

I'd better be careful with this one. I kinda feel like I'm walking in a well used cow pasture, at night, barefoot.

My business partner who wrote our website and thinks cheap gaudy pictures and slow loading menu's are the way to sell people on services.

I like it Will, very easy to navigate, and no distractions with weird graphics. easy on the eyes. ( important for we'uns with old eyes) You did good.

.

sometimes you got to step in it, to get through it and to much just gets you mired in it. :D :D

Had a look and its great. Keep working on those knife pictures. I have to say, the workshop pics are fantastic. I think people actually want to get to know how a maker makes his / her knives. Adds to the appeal. All the best. Jason.

Will, I think your site looks great, simple, easy to navigate...good start. Now you just need to start adding more to the gallery and available knives...but I'm not one to comment on that! :) I need to do the same thing!!! :D Also, now that you have a website, add a signature line to your forums profile on all of the places you post, knife related or not...that way people know your website is there! :)

Wil,nice looking web page, you said somthing in there about your shop being ugly,it does not matter how clean or how neat it is,it is what is done in your work place,My shop is like a meat locker in the winter and a hot box in the summer, knowing wear thing are in the shop and knowing what to do with them is what really matters ;) Fancy work space is not what makes a good knife,it is the hands that do it ;)
