Opinions...should I bid?

Hi,
Thats a Typo Sterile is what it should read. It's also listed as and is Badger not a Steel Heart. It is authentic.

Whether or not you should bid is going to be up to you.

However, I'll give you some input on the knife. As Pete said it is an authentic Busse Badger Attack-e, with the original sheath. The Badger Attack-e are discontinued and becoming a little harder to find. This one looks like it is in Mint condition, as the seller states. It is sterile(no markings on the knife to identify it)

Looks like a very nice knife and a good way to become a Busse owner without much of a wait(if you choose to bid)

Good luck

:D:D

My mistake, I don't know why I was thinking Steel Heart. I think I'm going to go for it. All you other hogs LAY OFF:)

I like the BA-e so much that at one time I had 4 of them. Now ProPorker has most of mine ;):D:D (well him and Gunder down Under ;) )

Chief,
Welcome to the forum. Pedie is a good guy to deal with.
Bought a couple knives off of him. Good luck in your decision!!:D

Chief,

The BA-3 I got off eBay came to $210 total. If this helps any, and it is mint. I think that knife is a bit high myself. But if you like it,go for it.

Well, the last BA-E on ebay went for $301.00, so I think the $299.00 Buy it now is probably fair. What do you guys think?

The last one I sold on Ebay went for $300. I started it at $ .99 with a reserve around $275 and a Buy it now of $300. It was up for about a day and some fella wandered buy and snatched it up for my Buy It Now price. The guy who has one up there had it posted twice before I put mine up and once after mine sold. It is all in how you set up the auction. $300 seems to bee the going rate lately.

I only have one of your old ones. The one I sold on ebay was one I snatched from the skunk. I should have kept it for the sentimental value.

Wow Progunner, are you always here? I was really _really_ tempted, then I saw dmc post a brand new Public Defender over in the exchange. That's the model I really wanted to begin with (planning EDC for it). So email fired off with offer. Hope I was the first. Now keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks everyone. I love this forum.

Chief,

You're darn right I am always here. Even when I am not here, I am here! The wife is out of town so I am shirking all of my honey do stuff. She'll tear me a new one when she gets back, but that is OK. As for the PD, excellent choice. Duane (dmc) is top notch in my book. I have a few of his old ones (He is the SH I Auctioneer on ebay currently) and they are always as described. He is fair with his prices and no one has the quality in shipping he does. No kidding the knives come packed in bubble wrap envelopes supported by closed cell foam. You'll see, maybe. Good luck.

Chief,

The real question is, do you have the time and financial resources to devote to what is for some a vice, others an obsession, and most others an addiction? Once you take this step, and if you discover that you like the knife, there is no turning back. You may be able to hold the disease at bay for a while but, eventually, Bussediction will take over your whole life. At first, you will hold the knife and look at it a lot. Then you will start to use it on things. Then, you will start looking for creative things to use it on... things never ment to be cut by a knife. Then you will have the urge to buy another in a different shape or size (after all, the knife has to be lonely when you're not around). You will then call Jerry or the girls, place an order and spend the waiting period alternating between fits of unexplainable anger and cold sweats. Eventually, your prized possession will arrive and after a short period of complete euphoria, the cycle will start again, this time punctuated by periodic checks for "busse" on the e-bay search function hoping against hope of finding some poor, uneducated sap selling a Busse for a really low "buy it now" price.

Good luck and enjoy your INFI!

Sorry, no SOF2.

Guys, I think I'm already in trouble. First I thought, "Swamprat is almost a Busse". Then I thought, "Well, why not just buy a real Busse". That quickly progressed to, "I have to have a Busse RIGHT NOW".

Now I'm beginning to wonder if one will really be enough, and I'm trying to figure out how to carry another one at all times.

Whenever someone questions my need for more knives, I always say, "What else am I going to spend my money on anyway...food?"

Hopefully I'll have my hands on some INFI soon. I think I really need it.

Welcome Chief!

Glad to see you here. . . . I was hoping that you would bring a level of sanity to our forum. . . but it is quite obvious that you have been INFIcted. As a word of warning, be sure to "keep your eyes on these guys". . . Oh sure, they're all about "helping you" acquire some INFI. . . next thing you know, you'll be invited to an undisclosed location, filled with CBL, and you'll wake up with a knife receipt in your pocket for $1.00 and your INFI will be gone!!!!!

Soon you'll be wandering the streets in a zombie-like state mumbling things like, "Dirty rotten scoundrels. . . . .they're always after me INFI charms. . . "

Good luck and stay low!

Jerry ;)

Hi Pro,
This is the first time this Badger has been listed by seller. The one you are referring to belonged to someone else.No harm but you should check things out before you post.On auctions the reserve is most of the time lower than Buy it Now.Thanks.:)

See, this is what I'm talking about. Newbie into INFI, and here's the owner/maker responding to my post. That's just so cool.

Not to worry, Jerry. I know all about all those "I'll help you get some INFI" guys.

"Why don't you just put me in contact with your seller, so I can check up on the deal"

Next thing you know, no INFI for you!
