I was given this Vic last week and have been trying to nail down which model it is as best I can. 91mm (actually a shade under 90 by my ruler) with two layers. Tools are large blade, small blade, can opener/small screwdriver, bottle opener/large screwdriver, corkscrew (grooved) and awl/reamer with no eyelet. After searching around SAKWiki and some other sites my best guess seems to be a Spartan without tweezers & toothpick.

Am I on the right track? Any thoughts or info as it relates to general dating of the knife are appreciated.

"The original version of the Spartan Swiss Army knife was manufactured by Victorinox from approximately 1973 until 1986. This knife includes a couple of "vintage" features-- a grooved corkscrew, and an awl without the sewing eye found on modern Swiss Army knives." Link.

Yes, it's an older Spartan. I have the same model, purchased in the mid-to-late '70s. At that time, only the larger models had tweezers and toothpick. Yours probably does not have a half stop on the cap lifter/screwdriver, which came later. Earlier, the small blade would have been a clip point.
