Opinions - Southard vs 'Kizer ki4423

Im really torn here, both knives have incredible merits. I could sit here and list the specs of each, and the pros and cons, but in your opinions, which knife would you pick?

And why would you pick the one you did?

Biggest things that stand out to me....

Kizer- s35v steel!
scultped titanium handles, including sculpted framelock and pocket clip,ball bearing system.

spyderco southard - carpenter 204 steel. ball bearing system, brown g1, scales with matching over travel stop g10 on the reverse side. I do find the blade on this knife slightly more "attractive"...

Without further ado... whats your pick?

The Kizer is a LOT bigger than a Southard, going by numbers alone. From what I've seen, that Kizer is much more like an 0801 and I think it's even bigger than that from what I remember. The Southard is teeny-tiny in comparison. Something to keep in mind.

by teeny tiny are you more referencing the thickness or length?

It's crazy thick and super short. I had to put different scales on because it was too blocky. Rounded scales make it a much better feeling package, but the handle still feels on the shorter side for my L to XL hands.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Southard, it just feels thick and small. I see people compare it to the 0560/0561 all the time and once I got one, I just wonder "Why?" It's nothing like them at all.

oh the southard is thicker? I really thought that would be the other way around...

i really feel like the kizer is a better bang for the buck.
