Opinions these...

In the field doing what? Stabbing/slashing a bad guy?

Thanks in advance,
Rich

Yes. and also how these knives might hold up for utility use as well. I know how well the Ka-Bar would do, curious as to any opinions on the quality of these knives for two-legged threats as well as the normal wear-and-tear such as chopping, etc.

You won't find much in the way of actual field reports of knives in combat, because most of the enemy has historically been pounded to a pulp by artillery or automatic rifle fire first. Hand to hand knife use is a mythology of non combat mall veterans.

Lots of opinions on what constitutes a field work knife for the military, most of the major uses are prying doors open, raking out mortar for sniper holes, or actually cutting heavy strapping. The preferred tools are a crowbar, Endura, and a pair of multipliers, which leaves me and a lot of older servicemen wondering why we carried the bigger fixed blades at all. The Kabar is the best just for the value, and is easily replaced.

The three you chose look fine for the job - those who have used them will chime in, but I don't expect a detailed report from Bagdad unless it's a contractor.
