Opinons on Black Palm for handles

I found out today that I am in line for a certain hard to get framelock folder. It will have a single overlay on the non-locking side.

I have always been interested in Black Palm as a scale material, but have yet to even handle a knife that has it.

Aside from the William Henry Evolution knife series, does anyone have a nice custom with Black Plam as a scale material?

Performance comments and pics would be great.

I found a nic pic on www.truenorthknives.com where Jeff Hall has made the Nemesis folders with some very nice-looking Black Palm. Is this typical of the material?

I have a very nice Afghan fighter with a black palm handle. It is attractive in an odd sort of way. The maker told me that it can be damaged quite easily if dropped or if it receives a sharp blow. I have had mine since 1986, with no problems.
