I thought i'd try out an opposites attract photo thread
and see what interesting combinations come up.

the definition of opposite is up to the poster,
Size: Big vs. Small
Materials: Natural vs. Synthetic
Style: Traditional vs. Tactical
Color: Black vs. White
you get the idea.

list the knives
and post your pics.

W.E. Ankrom Damascus & Mammoth Bark Linerlock Folder vs. TimberGhost Havoc Friction Folder
Classic Maker vs. New Maker both from the Northwestern US

Had this pic of my esee 4 and dragonfly salt on hand. Carbon steel vs H1. That and the size difference. And the materials. And cuz one is a folder and one is a fixed blade. These two are pretty far apart :D

Nice start, wow those are very different! I will need to look at my stash and find a few "combos" to photograph be back soon. Cool thread!

How about slicer vs chopper? Though the edge on that Wetterlings can push-cut paper with the best of them once I touch it up!

Krissig - Carbon vs. H1, I like!
Aias - very nice - do you use a stone or a file on the Wetterling?

i'll go again and try to revive this thread.

Let's call this one Front Office vs. Warehouse
both production folders, similar size.

Here you go... The folder I carried the most as a juvenile, juxtaposed with the one I carried the most as a full-grown:
