So I just stumbled on some info that kind of made me feel bad about the name I chose on here "Swamp_Hog", I had no idea that Jerry hands out hog names at gatherings and all of that. I had no intention to give myself a hog name, I just literally thought of something bonehead simple to remember because I have plenty of usernames to remember across other forums that I enjoy. I was aware of the Busse dudes referring to their buyers as hogs, which I found great humor in, good fun. I hope I did not offend any hogs, wasn't trying to stir the pot. Maybe I can change my user name, or just open a different account. Feel free to call me Josh if you like, I don't care to type much since I have tendinitis, so I keep my posts brief. So anyway, no offense, sorry Jerry/Hogs, just an honest mistake.:)

No problems. Pretty relaxed around here.

Stick around and you will be able to make it your official Hog name.

Cool man, I figured no one was too wound up about it, or I would have heard about it, but nonetheless, figured I would say something. I do aspire to be a Hog someday, just a piglet still.

Send me some cash and beer and I will arrange for you to be absolved from this great sin against Hog-dom.... ;)

How you liking the Rattlehawk? Mine's been at the spa and I miss it dearly. I'd really like to see a much thicker/heavier 'hawk purpose built for wood mangling...

Could have been worse, like Boss Hog

That wouldn't have been so good, lol.

I like the RH quite a bit, it's a great chopper, and its beard is useful for when I'm cleaning ATV trails, lots of briars in my woods. I can grip and rip them with the RH. I think it would be even better if it had a little more mass in the head of the hawk, not too much, but just to add that extra omphhhh. It's a keeper!

Swamp Hog come to Atlanta this year and I am sure they can make it official and name you "Swamp Bacon" or something clever :)
(and you can "shake the mans hand" and make Grinchvado (bravadoink) happy  )

Plus we would all like to meet you.

1st root-beer is on me if you go :)

I don't know what is more disturbing, the crazy looking horn extractor or the shiny key, LOL! I might just take you up on that root beer Dave!

The key is for the lock on the chains that hold the subject still during the "procedure" ... ;)
