It’s really embarassing to have double or triple posts LOL. Is it possible to include this feature on the site? Thanks!

Only a moderator can actually remove a post, but you can hit the edit button and remove the content of your double post.

Unless it’s duplicate threads not posts in the exchange there’s really nothing to worry about

I just created a post (not thread) that would have been better as an edit. Is it appropriate to Report it for deletion, or as I suspect is that just wasting a moderator's time?

You can edit your own posts. On the bottom left of the post click edit.

Thank you, but I am aware of that. Is it okay to leave blank posts when they are made in error, or should that be Reported. I am guessing mods are too busy for that but I thought I'd check.

When I have an errant discussion post, I normally edit out the wrong text and put "OOPS" in it's place. But, you can leave a blank post.
