For those of you who would prefer a fancier kydex sheath than what I offer, David Brown of Buy Brown Custom Creations will be offering to do them for my knives and hawks. Here is a photo I borrowed from David`s forum. You would need to contact him for prices.

And another great choice. When I used to be into Swamp Rat knives, I had a couple sheaths from him. Good stuff.

Hmmmm I'll definitely have to consider one of these for the custom hawk John is making me in May... Great looking work btw!

Question John: will you offer the same price reduction deal for outsourced kydex work (like the leather deal) if one forgoes a JK leather sheath? Thanks!

I will offer $20 off of a leather sheath. Contact David for a price on his kydex.

I've shied away from kydex because I don't want it to scratch my blades. Is there a way to line a kydex sheath so that doesn't happen?

Hi John -

I have always admired Mr. Brown - he gives back to the forum and does very nice work from what I have seen.

Exellent choice, and Buy Brown!

David - I will visit your table at Blade - I am Moon.

best
