Here is a sample of the optional kydex sheaths that are available for the entire Zero Tolerance line. They are being made for us by a new company called FIRST POSITION. We have given these guys an exclusive on these models with the agreement stating that these sheaths must be priced far lower than their regular line.

I designed this line of kydex sheaths to incorporate some pretty cool features that I have not seen in other kydex sheaths. I made the prototype that is pictured and Ryu now owns it. He picked it up at the Blade Show with his Zero Tolerance SJ. The features that I like the most are the adjustable retaining snap strap as was featured on our early cordura sheaths and the flared mouth with extended lip that allows for a thumb push and thus near-silent removal. They all feature Tech Locks for easy adjustment and removal.

The Zero Tolerance BM, SH, and NO will have these same features and should look very similar except for size.

The pricing is unbelievable for kydex of this quality and design. The pricing is as follows:

ZTBM Regular price = $65.00 Special ZT price = $47.00 Internet Order Price = $39.00

ZTSH Regular price = $60.00 Special ZT price = $45.00 Internet Order Price = $37.00

ZTNO Regular price = $55.00 Special ZT price = $43.00 Internet Order Price = $35.00

Order all three on-line and the price is $99.00 for the set. That is a $36.00 savings over ordering all three by phone! As you can see the on-line ordering will save you some pretty big bucks.

Ummm...all I see are the handles and then nothing but black. Can you try that again or email the pics to me?

Johan,

Give me a minute & they will be on their way.

Hi Jerry,

What about a Satin Jack sheath???? Will there be one of these for the ZT SJ as well?

Very clean lines on those sheaths. It's nice that the snap cord is paracord (if I see it correctly), which is easily field repairable. I also like that the fold at the bottom is open enough to drain water in case of dunking or cleaning. And the price is nice too.

Thanks RokJok, they are super dark on my screen - I had to edit them in PhotoShop so I could see the sheaths. Thanks again.

Great lookin' sheaths Jerry!

Your right the "pricing IS unbelievable for kydex of this quality and design"!

Glad to see their availability.

Anyone who buys one will not be disappointed. Take it from me guys, these sheaths are priced VERY REASONABLY for what you are getting!

Thanks Frank!

Trust me when I tell you that Frank is one of the most discriminating sheath buyers out there. He has had custom sheaths made for all of his Busse's. . . and that's a lot of sheaths

. Frank is also the one, I believe, who brought Chris Carraci to the table to design an awesome carry system for their new Vietnam Hawk. Eagle's making it and it will certainly prove to be up to their high standards of excellence. Nice work boys! Thanks for posting Frank, I know you've been busy, it's good to see you drop by.

Thanks Jerry!

I am kinda nuts about Hard Use sheaths huh!

Your right, that is one heck of a lot of sheaths. My safe is so weighted down with Busse's it is going to drop through the subfloor and cause foundation damage!

Can't think of a better reason though!

Your Nukenut,

Frank

Just checking, Jerry, but would you feel confident putting your knife in one of these sheaths in the inverted position on web gear suspenders, then bashing enthusiastically through Pacific NW brush?

They really do look pretty good. I may even order one for my straight SHII before long.

Jerry,

Do you have contact info for First Position?

I am interested in their work for a couple of my knives....

Also, are they going to be making sheaths for the regular E's?

I too would like to see these sheaths available for the regular line.

Ok Jerry, since you made me blush I had to post "one" of my MoJo sheaths on the MoJo topic.

I hope it meets with your readiness approval?

See ya!

Are there all kydex sheaths made by Busse for the E models?
I'd like an all kydex sheath for the BM-E and I could go aftermarket but this would cost extra. Unless Busse would sell a knife without a sheath at a discount.

I called 419-923-6471 this morning, and I did NOT get the soulless machine. I got Himself.

Along with telling Jerry how nice it is right now in Western Washington (only the East Side is burning up) and promising to swap him some Skagit Brown Ale for Carling Black Label if he ever gets out here -- he did manage to tell me he's expecting to have the web ordering info for those cool Zero Tolerance Kydex sheaths posted on the site in about the next five days.

I've been just chomping at the bit to order that super three-for-$99 deal to match the three knife ZT set I have on order.

I'll keep my plastic handy, and be ready to order those sheaths ASAP. Thanks, Jerry!

Yours in Nuclear Eagerness.
