What CRK options and features (blade steels/shapes/sizes, back spacers, handles, graphics, designs, etc) from the past would you like to see return to new CRK knives? What current features do you hope never go away? What option/feature would you most like to see included in the future?

For me....I am fairly new to CRK but think the feature I would like to see returned would be the old nail nick. Current feature I hope is around forever is the Insingo blade shape. Future feature for me would be multiple blade steel options (as if we need more reasons to purchase knives).

I realize CRK is very purposeful and makes changes to improve the overall quality and usability. They certainly know more than I do and don't have capacity for all the suggestions we can generate. That said, I thought it would be interesting to hear some opinions for others, especially those of you that have had CRKs for years and/or have had many CRKs.

I would like to see the Regular Sebenza handle and blade shape with the new ceramic lock set up, that and a totally plain Jane Umnumzaan would be real nice. I have no issues with blade steel or anything else so I'm happy to just wait and see what might come from CRK in the future. :)

I would love to see them offer Damascus and wood inlays with the Insingo, both sizes. I would like to see the 'regular' blade shape reissued with a 25 handle.

I would like to see the brown micarta used on the Nyala offered as an inlay on the Mnandi and 21

I'm looking forward to seeing an Insingo blade in a 25 handle. To me, that would be the ultimate. I too would also love a Damascus Insingo blade. Would also like to see different steel runs.

Of course that damascus Insingo blade would be a great feature.
Maybe let's start with wood inlayed handles on the Insingo.
:) can't wait.

PS: You are not alone with your feelings about the old nail nick on the Mnandi.

I would like to see, as HAZE said, the Large Regular Sebenza re-released with the updated lockbar.........I also would like to see CGG from the past allowed to be offered in newer versions, ie " Native American ", among others..............AND something ALL of us I think would like to see is the Return of the Annual Sebenza.

I would like to see the large and small regular brought back as well as some of the more popular older cgg designs.

I'm having a Moon Song large regular scale refinished now.

Having the Regs brought back would make the allure and appeal (for me at least) of having the unavailable Regs somewhat diminished; ie: having a small 21 isn't nearly as exciting as having a small Reg because the small 21 can be bought anytime/anywhere. That being said, if they brought them back I would buy them!

I would like to see wood inlays with sandblasted frames and stonewashed blades (same as the micarta Sebs). For some reason, I have an aversion to the satin finishes.

I'd like them to start offering the swedges in their knives again.

I just called the other day and CRK said they no longer offer that feature anymore. Kind of lame, seems pretty simple enough to do and I'd pay the $35. for it.

Oh well.

Also would love them to actually grind a sharpened swedge into the upper portion of the insingo blade... that would be awesome.

I would like a Ti-lock, all silver hardware, no blue, no brass, with a stonewash blade and blasted dark handles, and no peanut cut outs in the slabs, just plain. That would be badass in my mind.

I'd love a 25 with a pivot bushing and one-piece micarta inlay, ala the annuals.

And a small Zaan would be kinda' cool.

Damascus -25 Insingo with a "Come and take it" CGG ......Put a fork in me!!!! Bart

I would like to see the Regular Sebenza handle and blade shape with the new ceramic lock set up...

Aye! By far my favorite blade and handle of the "traditional" styled Sebenzas. (Though I love the small Insingo as the perfect complement to the large regular.)
