Options for a new sebbie

I'm looking to order a large 21 from CRK and am considering a few options.

I have a plain classic small, and I like the look and feel of it, but I've heard good things about the inlays. If anything, I'd get the micarta inlay with the tumbled/blasted knife, as I want to use this and not keep it in my sock drawer. And as cool as the graphics are, I know that I'd be hesitant to use the knife if I decked it out with graphics and embelishments.

I'm also thinking of going with the double thumb lug. I know that it doesn't make it perfectly ambidexterious, but it does give me more options for my carry. Right now I carry my sebbie in the CRK belt sheath (horizontal cross draw on my left side) and if I ever needed to, I'd like the option to thumb it open with my left hand.

Anyone have any experience or opinions they'd like to share?
Thanks in advance

I'm always up for sharing unless it's pie.....

I have a large classic plain with a double thumb lug and a large classic inlay with a single lug. While I don't really need the double lug 98% of the time, I like the way it looks and feels. More symmetrical I guess. When opening, you can feel the opposing lugs between your thumb and opposite forefinger when you break it over the detent. It's a subtle little thing, but nice. If I do end up ordering a "made" Sebenza from CRK, I'll order it with the double lugs.

With regard to inlays, if you like the Micarta - get it. It will fill your hand a little better and provide a better grip than the plain if you are going use it in slippery conditions. I'm very happy with my plain, but will snap up a Micarta one if the stars align properly with availability and funds

Good luck and don't look back.

since you are ordering from CRK the options are endless...get what you love, the micarta is awesome but don't be afraid of the wood inlays they look fantastic and hold up the same. also if you like the graphics get one and don't be scared to use it any crk can be refurbed and the colors are well protected...

I have ordered a few from CRK in the past. Almost all that I have ordered have "Double Silver Thumbstuds.". I recently ordered one with a polished s30v blade, and feel that it may be added to my "Standard Options". After that it all depends.
