Options for storing/carrying fixed blades with sheaths?

How do I safely carry and/or store fixed blade knives with sheaths? I saw something on Amazon that looks like a long narrow gun rug…?

What should I use and where do you recommend I acquire?
I appreciate any and all suggestions.

Sorry if I don't understand your question correctly but if you mean to store vs. carry, I would remove the blade from your sheath, lightly oil and set in a tray or safe etc...For carrying, is the sheath you have not sufficient to hold the knife? If that's the case, I would consider having a new sheath made for your blade. I'll line mine with deerskin which tends to help hold the knife a bit better.
 
Dont store your knives in leather sheaths. I got rust on a Gene Ingram I had forgotten I put away in the sheath. Kydex, yea just store in those
 
Extra long tacos will have to fit the bill for now.
