Options Poll

[Don't drop it.]

I know that the buck stops with jerry, But who would like to see these unbelievable options like the long straight clip , lowered drop point, optional penetrator tip, on all the new blades in the future. Also list other options that aren't listed that you would like to see.

Options suck. I'm terribly indecisive.

Blade coating / finishes and handle material / colours is already too much for me.

I'm being serious, but then again i'm very likely the minority here and i'm sure others love all the options!

If there's only one option you know you bought the right one- It's likely by offering 3 versions will increase sales by 30-50% .... Any business mind will tell you which way to go here ... So, the challenge is- Can you pick just one and never think about "what if I had done this...."

Bottom line is, choices are good!

I think the penetrator tip should be a full time option, even on the website regulars. Simple easy mod to put on when sharpening.

Coatings and handles, those are a staple.

Spine changes should be model specific - due to additional plasma/water cutting requirements and programming. Obviously anything offered with it originally they have a file for it, but anything pre-offering would have to have custom files made. Plus to keep machining costs down and turnaround up....you would have to have it model specific.

What would be cool to have is a custom pin/rivet option. Doesn't really take away from the manufacturing process, but adds something custom to the blade. Kinda like having the custom shop open, but not.

I think the word you're looking for is "Jimping" if you mean filed or machined type checkering.

I don't much care about options....Satin or Coated....Micarta or G-10...I either like the original design or I'll modify it SINCE the custom shop is still CLOSED...

Options aren't a big deal to me, it's there glorious heat treat and steel that I'm interested in. I can easily wet grind a swedge or clip without damaging the temper

Would have loved to see a Black Res C option also, even MORE options lol, but Ill still be buying Tan, just not as many

I like options. But like C CHEMMINS said, the spine shape options would and should vary by model.

The one being offered are pretty cool and leaves other options for GAAAANNNZZZZAAAASSSS
