I was wondering your guys thoughts on this. How do you feel.about buying knives without sheaths. I know of other makers that sell knives with a sheath optional. Im just asking because I know some people like to make their own sheaths, get kydex, etc and it would offer a better value for those people. Just wondering.

And, I would like to offer a standard sheath as well as Bryans additional sheaths

Good option. I have so many in the 4-5" range a I only need 1 generic pouch sheath

Chris, for my money, your "universal sheath" can not be beat for the money or for the uses. The one I "used" to own ( which now resides in my #1 son's home, along with that fantastic knife ) was carried horizonal on his belt, vertical on my belt, vertical on my back pack w/ the "strap" going thru the molle straps on the pouch, and with the straps fastened, it carried pretty daym good in my cargo pockets on my jeans. If need be, you or your "neighbor", or someone else could make me a "custom" sheath if need be. But my money is on you to win, place, or show . . . . :D
Really hope you do not quit getting these, a lot of varied carry options and probably some I have not even tried or thought of . . . . yet . . . .
Be safe.

Because I'm a lefty I usually have to have a new sheath made anyway so I'm cool with it.

I prefer a sheath with mine...I like the option of Kydex...leather is very nice, but all of my customs are so sharp that if the knife touches the leather sheath at all going in...it gets cut...a lot. I'm good either way, because now I'm hooked up with more than a couple of great kydex folks and a great leather guy or two. I have noticed, however, that its usually less expensive to get a knife with a sheath than to buy the knife and have a sheath made. (Unless the knife guy and sheath guy are hooked up...)

I like the idea of options:
bare knife, knife w/universal sheath, knife with Church sheath, etc...
